How to Use the Tax Benefits and Bonuses Calculator 2026

Our Bonus Calculator helps you discover which government bonuses and tax benefits you are eligible for in 2026. Enter your ISEE (Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator), your household composition, and your expected expenses to get a personalized summary.

What This Tool Calculates

The calculator automatically checks your eligibility for the main active bonuses in 2026:

  • Universal Child Allowance: estimated monthly amount per child based on ISEE
  • Utility Bill Bonus: discount on electricity, gas, and water for ISEE below 9,530 euros
  • Nursery Bonus: contribution up to 3,000 euros/year for nursery fees
  • Home Renovation Bonus: 50% tax deduction for building work
  • Supplementary Allowance: up to 1,200 euros/year for low-income earners
  • Energy Efficiency Bonus: tax deductions from 50% to 65% for energy efficiency improvements

The Importance of ISEE

The ISEE (Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator) is the key parameter for accessing most bonuses. It is obtained by submitting the DSU (Substitute Single Declaration) to INPS, through a tax assistance center (CAF), or directly online. Required documents include: income (CU or tax return), financial assets (balances and average balances as of December 31 of two years prior), real estate assets (cadastral records). The ISEE is valid until December 31 of the current year.

Universal Child Allowance: The Most Important Benefit

The Universal Child Allowance is the main support for families with children up to 21 years old. Amounts range from a minimum of 54.10 euros/month (high or missing ISEE) to a maximum of 189.20 euros/month per child (ISEE up to 17,090 euros). Additional amounts are provided for disabled children, mothers under 21, households with 4 or more children, and families where both parents work. The application must be submitted to INPS and is valid from March to February of the following year.

Automatic Bonuses vs. Application-Based Bonuses

Some bonuses are automatic: you just need a valid ISEE below the threshold. The Utility Bill Bonus, for example, is applied directly to your bill without any application needed. Others require a specific request: the Universal Child Allowance must be applied for through INPS, the Nursery Bonus requires submitting fee receipts, and the Psychology Bonus has specific application windows.

Tax Deductions in the 730 Form

In addition to directly disbursed bonuses, there are numerous deductions that can be claimed on the tax return: home renovation at 50%, energy efficiency bonus from 50% to 65%, medical expenses at 19%, mortgage interest, education expenses. The calculator also includes these items to give you a complete picture of potential tax savings.

Current ISEE

If your financial situation has significantly worsened compared to the data from two years prior (on which the standard ISEE is based), you can request a current ISEE: an updated calculation that takes into account recent changes in income or assets. This may allow you to access higher amounts for many bonuses.

Who This Is For

The calculator is designed for families who want to quickly check which benefits they are entitled to, for tax consultants assisting clients with planning, and for anyone who wants to maximize savings by knowing all the bonuses available in 2026.
