The ISTAT Rent Revaluation Calculator 2026 allows you to easily and quickly calculate the annual adjustment of your rental fee according to the ISTAT FOI indices (Families of Workers and Employees).
How does the ISTAT rent revaluation work?
The revaluation of the rental fee occurs annually based on the variation of the ISTAT consumer price index. This practice is provided by law and allows the fee to be adjusted for inflation.
What percentage applies?
- 75% of the ISTAT index: For contracts signed before 1998 (Law 392/78)
- 100% of the ISTAT index: For contracts signed from 1998 onwards, if explicitly stated in the contract
When does the revaluation apply?
The revaluation applies starting from the expiration of each year of the lease, using the ISTAT index published for the month preceding the expiration date.
How to use the calculator
- Enter the current monthly rental fee
- Select the type of contract (75% or 100% ISTAT)
- Indicate the month and year of reference for renewal
